Obituary of Mabel Mary Dearing

DEARING, Mabel Mary-age 90 of Enfield, formerly of Change Islands, NL, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018 in the Magnolia, Enfield.

 

Born in Change Islands, NL, she was a daughter of the late James and Matilda (Gillingham) Edwards.

 

Mabel loved “cooking for a crowd” and family gatherings and lived for her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and sewing.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Maybee; son, Orval (Jan) Dearing; grandchildren, Cheryl (Charles) Martin, Craig Maybee; great grandchildren,  Ashley, Andrew, Anna, Allyson and Adam Martin; sister, Margaret Moore, numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard; sisters, Phyllis Wells, Elizabeth Gardner, brothers, Aubrey, Fred Gordon and Evelyn Edwards; son in-law, Terry Maybee.

 

At her request, cremation has taken place, no visitation or service will be held.
